How much time do I need to pass the theoretical exam?
It depends on your dedication and the hours you have available to do the online course, take the tests and attend the face-to-face classes.
You can pass in three weeks if you dedicate the necessary time.
How often is there a test?
Normally every two weeks.
How many questions does the theoretical exam have?
The exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, to be completed in 30 minutes and in which you can only make 3 mistakes.
What are my deadlines from the time I take the first theory exam?
If you pass, you have 2 years to pass the practical driving test.
If you fail, you will have to take the theory test again.
How many practical classes do I need before I can take the exam?
Since there is no compulsory number of practice sessions to obtain the driving license, the number of practical classes to be taken varies according to each student.
The number of classes given is normally around 30 practices.
If I fail the practical driving test, how long can I take it again?
If you do not pass the first practical exam, you can take the next one at any time; if you fail the second one, you must wait at least 10 working days before trying again.
If you also fail the third or subsequent exams, the period between exams must be at least 15 working days.
Is it possible to obtain a driver's license without having reached the age of 18?
Yes, you will be able to take the theoretical exam before you turn 18, but only 3 months before you reach the age of majority.
For the practical exam you must have reached the age of majority, although you can take the classes before you reach the age of majority.
If I already have the A1 license, do I have to take the theoretical exam to obtain the B license?
No, if before the B license you already obtained the A1, it means that you had to take the A1 specific theory exam and the common theory exam.
Therefore, you would go directly to the internship.
(Always before 2 years have elapsed since you passed the common theory).
If I already have the B license, do I have to take a theory test if I want to obtain the A1 or A2 license?
In this case you would have to take the specific A1 or A2 exam.
How long is the medical examination valid from the time you have it done?
You have 3 months from the date of the recognition to take the exam and it is valid for two years when you have an open call.
What documentation do I need to take the theoretical exam?
We need two passport photos, a photocopy of your ID card and a valid medical certificate.
What happens if I exhaust the 2 opportunities to pass an exam?
When you exhaust these 2 opportunities, you will have to obtain them again, paying the DGT Fee and the processing of your file 193€ (fees included).
